Best Soundbars for TCL QM7K TV (2026)
TCL’s QM7K spec sheet splits the speakers by size. On the 55- to 98-inch sets it is Audio by Bang & Olufsen, 2.2 channel, 60 W from four speakers, with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X. The 115-inch row is a different system: Onkyo 4.2.2, 100 W from eight speakers. Every size on that sheet has four HDMI inputs, one of them eARC, one optical output, and a 144 Hz panel. Passthrough is printed as Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital+, Dolby Digital, and PCM. A console stays on a TV HDMI port. The bar uses the eARC port.
Start with the LG S80TR. LG’s spec sheet rates it 5.1.3, 580 W, with 11 speaker units, a wireless subwoofer, and rear speakers. HDMI is one input and one eARC output, and the box includes an HDMI cable. The manual’s 4K at 120 Hz line is YCbCr 4:2:0, which is why the QM7K’s 144 Hz picture stays on the TV. WOW Orchestra is an LG television menu. It does not turn on for this TCL set. What you get here is the eARC path and the speakers in the box.

| HDMI | 1 in / 1 out. eARC and ARC. HDMI cable and wall bracket included |
| Video note | The manual prints 4K at 120 Hz as YCbCr 4:2:0, with HDCP 2.3 |
| Box | Wireless subwoofer and rear speakers. Bar about 39.4 × 2.5 × 5.3 in |
The S80TR sheet is a complete small system: bar, wireless subwoofer, and rear speakers, plus the HDMI cable. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are both on the audio list. That covers the QM7K’s Dolby Atmos passthrough. DTS Virtual:X on the TV is the set’s own processing. The bar’s DTS:X line matters when a source sends DTS:X into a port that can carry it, which on this TV is the eARC HDMI port, not the optical jack.
LG’s installation note says eARC has to be enabled on the TV before Atmos or DTS:X from that port is available, and it asks for a cable with the HDMI logo. The included cable is the one to use first. A regional S80TR page lists WOW Orchestra televisions from earlier OLED years. The QM7K is not on that list. Treat WOW Orchestra as unavailable, and use the bar as an eARC speaker system.
- Subwoofer and rear speakers are in the system
- eARC, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X are on the sheet
- HDMI cable and a wall bracket are included
- The bar is 2.5 inches high
- 4K at 120 Hz in the manual is YCbCr 4:2:0
- HDR10+ is marked no on the spec sheet
- WOW Orchestra is an LG-TV feature
- Rear speakers still need a place to stand

| HDMI | 1 in / 1 out, eARC and ARC. HDMI cable and wall-mount kit included |
| Audio | Dolby Atmos and DTS:X marked yes. Q-Symphony marked yes |
| Size | Bar 43.73 × 2.38 × 4.72 in. Subwoofer 9.8 × 9.91 × 9.8 in |
Samsung marks Q-Symphony yes on the Q800F sheet. Samsung’s own chart pairs that feature with Samsung TVs. The QM7K is not one of them, so the TV speakers do not join the bar. The useful lines are the others: Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, eARC, one HDMI input, a subwoofer, an HDMI cable, and a wall-mount kit.
One HDMI input means a console has a port on the bar and four on the TV. Use the TV. The QM7K panel is 144 Hz, and this sheet does not print a 144 Hz pass-through. The bar is 43.73 inches wide and 2.38 inches high. The 115-inch QM7K is wide enough. Measure a 55-inch set before the bar overhangs the frame.
- Subwoofer is in the box
- Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are both marked yes
- HDMI cable and wall hardware included
- Q-Symphony is marked yes for a compatible Samsung TV
- One HDMI input
- Rear speakers are marked not included
- Q-Symphony stays off on a TV that is not on Samsung’s chart with this bar
- The bar is 43.73 inches wide

|---|---|
| Layout | 3.1.2. Three front, one subwoofer, two up-firing |
| HDMI | 1 in / 1 out, eARC. HDMI cable and wall-mount kit included |
| Audio | Dolby Atmos yes. DTS Virtual:X yes. DTS-HD Master Audio marked no |
| Size | Bar 45.67 × 2.0 × 4.72 in. Subwoofer included. No rear-speaker kit |
The QS700F is the short one: 2.0 inches high and 45.67 inches wide, with the subwoofer and HDMI cable in the box and no rear-speaker kit. Dolby Atmos is yes. The DTS line that is yes is DTS Virtual:X. DTS-HD Master Audio is marked no. If the program is DTS-HD, use the Q800F, whose sheet marks DTS:X yes.
Q-Symphony is marked yes and, as with the Q800F, it does not recruit the Bang & Olufsen speakers in a QM7K. Optical exists on the TV if the eARC port is taken. The Atmos passthrough TCL prints is on HDMI, so optical is the fallback, not the Atmos path.
- 2.0 inches high
- Subwoofer and HDMI cable are in the box
- Dolby Atmos and eARC
- Q-Symphony is marked yes
- DTS-HD Master Audio is marked no
- No rear speakers
- 45.67 inches wide
- Q-Symphony needs a Samsung TV from the matching chart
Keep 144 Hz on the TV

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the 115-inch QM7K use the same speakers?
No. TCL’s sheet gives the 115-inch set an Onkyo 4.2.2 system at 100 W from eight speakers. The 55- to 98-inch sets are Bang & Olufsen 2.2 at 60 W from four speakers. Both rows list one eARC HDMI port.
Will Q-Symphony or WOW Orchestra turn on?
No. Q-Symphony is Samsung’s chart, and WOW Orchestra is LG’s chart. Neither names the QM7K. The bars still play over HDMI eARC.
Where does a console go?
Into a TV HDMI port that is not the eARC port. The panel is 144 Hz. The S80TR manual’s 4K 120 Hz line is YCbCr 4:2:0, and the Samsung sheets used here do not print 144 Hz pass-through.
Final Verdict
S80TR is the QM7K system that arrives with a subwoofer and rear speakers and connects on eARC. HW-Q800F is the 5.1.2 bar whose sheet marks both Atmos and DTS:X, without rear speakers. HW-QS700F is the 2.0-inch bar, and its DTS line stops at DTS Virtual:X.
